manufactured at this modern 225,000 square foot facility located in East Industrial
Park, Manchester, New Hampshire. Hitachi’s state-of-the-art manufacturing
facilities and advanced engineering technology enable Hitachi to provide a wide range
of solutions to meet the needs not only for standard cable but special cable designs
as well.
For many years, Hitachi Cable Manchester Inc. has been a prime source for
round and flat wire and cable for use in computer, industrial, automotive, medical and other
electronic OEM applications.
The product line also offers UTP/STP plenum and non-plenum premise cable for voice and
data communications. In 1996, Hitachi added such cables as NEC Article 725 and 760 for the
sound, security and fire alarm markets. Optical fiber was also added to meet the needs of the
rapidly-growing voice and data communications and interactive video markets.
The progress of HCM during the past few years is reflected in the increasing physical size
of the New Hampshire plant, as well as, the ever-broadening scope of products offered to customers.
